Nerdy Football Analysis: Adams practiced in pads Thursday for the first time since getting hurt, suggesting his return is imminent – be it this week or next. A return in Week 9 would likely mean he would draw shadow coverage from Casey Hayward, but it is unlikely fantasy owners have better options during the bye-week crunch. On the plus side, Adams has been about as matchup-proof as receivers come in recent years, and it seems unlikely things would be any different now.
