This saga isn’t over
Arbitrator Harold Henderson has upheld the six-game suspension for Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott on Tuesday, a source told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.
Despite the suspension being upheld, Elliott is still eligible to play in the team’s season opener Sunday against the New York Giants. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Elliots’s 6-game suspension remains but he will suit up Week 1 against the Giants because the ruling came after 4 pm ET. It remains to be seen whether or not he will be available for Week 2 or beyond as the next ruling in the case should come late Friday.
