“A lot of truth” to Eagles RB wanting to head back to Big D in 2016

Despite what Eagles running back DeMarco Murray said to reporters on Thursday, the evidence suggests that he’d like to get out of Philly.

There’s a growing feeling that he’d like to return to Dallas.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, there’s “a lot of truth” to the notion that Murray would like to play for the Cowboys again. (Pro Football Talk)

Nerdy Football Analysis: A third-round pick of the Cowboys in 2011, Murray set a franchise single-season rushing record with 1,845 yards in 2014. He also was named the league’s offensive player of the year. He’s a better fit in Dallas than in Chip Kelly’s lateral system, but he’s currently in a five-year, $40 million deal with the Eagles. Dynasty leaguers may even want to trade for Murray on the cheap in anticipation of a possible return to Big D in 2016.
