Romeo Crennel to serve as interim head coach

Nerdy Football Analysis: For many Houston fans, this move comes about 6-7 months too late after O’Brien won a power struggle with DeAndre Hopkins and shipped him off to Arizona. The Texans are in the world of hurt right – mostly of O’Brien’s doing – as they are 0-4 with no first- or second-round picks in the 2021 draft. O’Brien’s departure likely bodes well for Deshaun Watson, but it might take until 2022 to start seeing the positive returns.
