Troublesome left foot dogged him for most of 2016
Bills WR Sammy Watkins will have another foot surgery this week. (Tim Graham on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Watkins had surgery for a Jones fracture last spring, and those operations tend to require second surgeries, so this news is hardly surprising. The third-year receiver has experienced a troubling long list of injuries over his relatively short pro career, but he remains a dynamic young talent that has typically flourished anytime he has been given a sliver of a chance to succeed. Based on his recovery time, he’ll likely enter 2017 on the WR2/WR3 borderline.
