Not likely to play in Week 4
Running back Melvin Gordon contacted the Los Angeles Chargers and told them he plans to report on Thursday, ending his 64-day holdout, sources confirmed to ESPN. A source tells ESPN’s Josina Anderson that Gordon expects 2019 will be his final year with the Chargers. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Gordon is probably tired of losing money while he watches Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson capably fill the rushing needs for the Chargers. Gordon is unlikely to play in Week 4 against Miami but could suit up in Week 5 against the Broncos. His return will obviously affect the fantasy value of Austin Ekeler who currently sits as the No.1 RB in PPR leagues.
