Nerdy Football Analysis: Herbert’s production has taken a hit since Justin Fields started monopolizing the running game about five weeks ago, but he was still one of the better stories of the season so far – especially in Weeks 3 and 4 when David Montgomery was injured. With Herbert out of the picture – possibly for the rest of the year – Montgomery should return to a workhorse role and be considered a strong RB2 option at worst moving forward. Trestan Ebner could work into the mix as well, but he is unlikely to be all that relevant for fantasy purposes this year.
