WR Dorial Green-Beckham picks up slack (5-82-0) in loss to Packers
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews is dealing with an ankle injury in the aftermath of Monday’s 27-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. His playing status for Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals is unclear. (Nerdy Football)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Matthews left the game and briefly returned before leaving for good shortly after the start of the second half. Dorial Green-Beckham is still a pretty raw receiver who frequently makes costly mistakes — as he did on an offensive interference penalty that wiped out a long catch-and-run by Darren Sproles in the second half. If Matthews misses time, he’ll be the Eagles default WR1, but expect Sproles and doghouse-occupying Nelson Agholor to get more targets in Week 13.
