MRI to confirm
#Redskins RB Derrius Guice, who injured his knee last night, received an initial diagnosis of a sprained MCL, source said. He’ll have an MRI to confirm. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: While not good news, it could’ve been worse. We’ll wait for the MRI but it appears Guice will be missing most if not all the rest of the pre-season. His fantasy stock will certainly take a hit but it’s not out the question that he could be ready to play Week 1. The Redskins have plethora of RBs on the depth chart including Samaje Perine, Rob Kelley, Kapri Bibbs and Byron Marshall.
