Shin injury
Antonio Gibson played with a shoulder injury last week. He has a shin injury that kept him out of practice Thursday. Gibson was not on the injury report Wednesday, but he did wear a sleeve on his injured shin during practice, Nicki Jhabvala of TheAthletic.com reports. (Pro Football Talk)
Nerdy Football Analysis: There does not appear to be much concern in Washington over Gibson’s Week 4 status at the moment. On the bright side, he practiced on Wednesday with a sleeve over his shin. The frustrating thing for his fantasy owners is how often Washington turns to J.D. McKissic on passing downs. The defense has not played well enough to this point for Gibson to get the workload so many fantasy managers expected when they drafted him, leaving him as a middling RB2 in the body of a high-upside RB1.
