$16 million guaranteed

Per a league source, the Colts and tight end Dwayne Allen have worked out a four-year, $29.4 million deal. He’ll get $12 million in year one, $17 million total through two years, and $22 million through three years. The includes $16 million guaranteed; it’s unclear how much is fully guaranteed at signing. Nerdy Football Analysis: Both tight ends for the Colts are free agents and most expected the team to sign Coby Fleener but instead it’s Allen that gets the deal. With Allen getting a substantial chunk of change, its unclear if the team will pursue Fleener as well. Allen has missed 23 games over the last three years with various injuries and was an afterthought\t in the Colts passing game last season. His fantasy value hinges on Fleener’s landing spot.
