Jacquizz Rodgers set to share work in Weeks 1-3

Nerdy Football Analysis: Over the weekend, Licht said Martin would have to earn his starting job back. It was also speculated Jacquizz Rodgers had a realistic shot at holding the job if he performed well in Martin’s absence. The most likely scenario is probably one in which Martin returns to 16-18 carry/game workload and loses a series or two every game to Rodgers. Charles Sims and Jeremy McNichols figure to fight over third-down and garbage-time duties.
