Panthers receive a third- and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft
The Carolina Panthers have traded top wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin to the Buffalo Bills for a third- and a seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft. By heading to Buffalo, Benjamin will be reunited with Bills head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, both of whom used to work in Carolina. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Bills are certainly a WR-needy team. McDermott is familiar with Benjamin from his days as the defensive coordinator in Carolina. This seems like a lateral move for Benjamin’s fantasy value and slight bump up for Devin Funchess in Carolina.
