Miami has its new starting quarterback. Dolphins reached agreement on a two-year deal with former Buccaneers’ QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, per source. Fitzpatrick now will join his third AFC East team, having already started for the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: After flirting with Teddy Bridgewater and trading Ryan Tannehill to the Titans, the Dolphins finally find a QB. Fitzpatrick will be a bridge until a Miami lands a young quarterback in the draft. Given the rebuilding mode going on, it’s tough to value Fitzmagic as anything but a QB2 heading into 2019.
