As good a shot as any to crack the starting lineup
The New York Jets are adding a receiver to a stripped-down wideout corps.
The agent for Marquess Wilson tweeted that the 24-year-old receiver joined Gang Green on Tuesday, and the team later confirmed the move. (NFL.com)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Wilson spent the majority of last season on the sidelines with a broken foot playing in only three games. He’s yet to play more than 10 games in a season during his four-year career but does have an opportunity with the Jets have the worst receiving corps in the league. He’ll be waiver wire fodder unless he becomes the top receiving option for Josh McCown.
