Nerdy Football Analysis: Jones was released by the Giants on Saturday and gives the Packers some needed depth after Jordy Nelson’s season-ending knee injury. Jones spent 7 seasons (2007-2013) in Green Bay and is very familiar with the offensive system. He’ll likely fit in as the No.3 receiver and is worth a look in the late rounds of re-draft leagues.
