Suffered turf toe in Week 4
Titans first-round WR Treylon Burks, who left yesterday’s game with a foot injury, has been diagnosed with turf toe, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. No surgery is necessary, just rehab. But Burks will miss some time. (NFL Network – Ian Rapoport)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It should mean Robert Woods gets a slight bump in targets, although how much that means in Tennessee’s offense is up for debate. Nevertheless, Woods is probably a worthy flex option at this point. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips will also be more involved. Turf toe injuries tend to linger, so it might not be the worst idea to find the most passionate fan of Burks in your league and see if you can unload him for a player such as Jakobi Meyers.
