Missed practice Sunday
With #Bears TE Trey Burton not practicing, at least when media was allowed to view action today, I have to think it’s less likely he plays Thursday vs #Packers. Burton has been given a lot of time off this summer and clearly isn’t physically to the point he needs to be. (Brad Biggs on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The Bears kickoff the NFL season against the Packers on Thursday so Burton is looking iffy to suit up in Week 1. Burton underwent sports-hernia surgery in May so it’s somewhat surprising he is not a full-go ahead of week 1. We should get a better idea of Burton’s status later today.
