Nerdy Football Analysis: The media is apparently getting antsy for Meyer to name a starting quarterback. Lawrence is going to get the job over Gardner Minshew, and it would frankly be a bit surprising if Minshew ever sees the field in the regular season again for the Jags barring a heavy dose of garbage time, the occasional kneel-down or injury to Lawrence. The No. 1 pick has low-end QB1 upside but is a much better value as a high-end QB2.
