Dan Quinn said he’ll know more about Tevin Coleman’s hamstring strain in the next couple days, but the Atlanta Falcons coach sounded prepared to make a roster move in case the running back is sidelined for any period of time. Coleman played 14 snaps in Sunday’s 33-30 overtime loss to the San Diego Chargers before exiting. He scored on a 30-yard burst and had 74 combined yards on nine touches. (ESPN)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Devonta Freeman should slide into more of a feature-back role, while Terron Ward is expected to be promoted from the practice squad. Freeman was already a top-10 fantasy back sharing touches, so the next 1-2 weeks (presumably) may allow him to push 25 touches. The bad news is Atlanta’s schedule may not cooperate, as Green Bay, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia await before the Falcons’ Week 11 bye.
