Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is officially in the fold for the upcoming season.
Higgins will sign his franchise tag on Saturday, a source tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter. By signing the tag, the fifth-year receiver is now expected to be at training camp. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Higgins has been sitting on the sidelines this off-season but should be at camp in late July now that he’s signed his franchise tag. Assuming he plays this season on the tag, he’ll earn $21.8 million. While a long-term deal is still an option, it’s likely the two sides will part ways after the 2024 season.
