T.Y. Hilton is getting his wish. Hopeful of being a “Colt for life,’’ the veteran receiver is getting that opportunity. After briefly testing the free-agent market, Hilton has agreed to a one-year, $10 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts that includes $8 million in guarantees, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report the transaction. (Fox 59 in Indianapolis)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Hilton reportedly was being pursued by the Ravens but will stick with the Colts on a one-year deal. Hiltons’ fantasy stock took a hit last season as the Colts focused on the run with Philip Rivers at helm. He’ll be a borderline WR3 with Carson Wentz under center. The Colts wide receiver room includes Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal, Parris Campbell along with Hilton.
