Jumbed mess at the backup RB spot
After mostly predictable moves Saturday, the Buffalo Bills came up with a bit of a surprise Sunday by releasing running back Jonathan Williams and linebacker Gerald Hodges, according to media reports. (Buffalo News)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Williams appeared to be locked in to the No. 2 spot behind LeSean McCoy. However, the Bills have kept running backs Joe Banyard, Taiwan Jones along with fullbacks Mike Tolbert and Patrick DiMarco. With all the moves this off-season it’s difficult to decipher at this point who would get the majority of carries should something happen to McCoy.
