Bills OC Anthony Lynn bluntly declares Thursday that “last I heard, [Sammy Watkins] has a broken bone in his foot.” Lynn doesn’t know whether Watkins will play “1 play or 20 plays,” and says he is uncertain whether Watkins will be able to finish the season. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: It seems more likely than not Watkins will try to push through his injury as long as the Bills remain in the playoff race, but his availability each week certainly cannot be taken for granted. This news makes him more of a dice-roll WR3/flex moving forward than a possible WR2 with a favorable fantasy playoff schedule.
