Failed physical designation
The Saints have release veteran WR Brandon Coleman, per a league source. It will be with the failed physical designation. (Field Yates on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Coleman has been on the active/physically unable to perform list with an undisclosed injury since the beginning of camp. Coleman posted reception totals of 30-26-23 the last three years in New Orleans. His departure allows more opportunities for Cameron Meredith and rookie Tre’Quan Smith who has been the talk of camp.
