Dolphins name starting QB
The Dolphins have named QB Ryan Fitzpatrick as the starter. Not a surprise, but now official. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Fitzpatrick has been battling Josh Rosen in camp for the starting QB job in Miami and the beard has prevailed. In all likelihood, Rosen will make some starts this season but Fitzmagic gets first crack and leading a Dolphins offense that’s expected to be in the bottom third of the league in points and efficiency. Miami hosts the Ravens in Week 1.
