Ryan Fitzpatrick is still the Jets’ starting quarterback.
After suffering torn ligaments in his thumb against the Raiders, the quarterback practiced fully Wednesday and was named the starter for New York’s matchup with the Jaguars on Sunday.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Ryan Fitzpatrick was able to use both hands during handoffs and didn’t appear to have any issues taking snaps from under center. New York has cleared him to start but likely won’t ask him to throw the ball more than needed against the Jaguars.
