Bucs RB still nursing broken finger but could play Week 17
Ronald Jones was activated Tuesday from the reserve/COVID-19 list and is expected to practice Wednesday. He could be back in the Bucs’ lineup for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Falcons — and he’s still looking for the 1,000-yard milestone. (Tampa Bay Times)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Jones has missed the last two games and hasn’t practiced since breaking the pinky finger on his left hand in the Bucs’ 26-14 win over Minnesota on Dec. 13. He had surgery to insert a pin in that finger. HC Bruce Arians said he would like for Jones to get some action Sunday. If he doesn’t suit up, we can expect another big workload for Leonard Fournette and some touches for Ke’Shawn Vaughn.
