Cowboy since 2003 set to be free agent
Cowboys are releasing Tony Romo on Thursday, sources tell @toddarcher and me.

Nerdy Football Analysis: Romo’s future has been widely discussed for months and its no surprise it will end with a release from the Cowboys. It’s likely he’ll be designated a post-June cut to save $14 million against the cap. Romo (36) has battled injuries limiting him to just five games over the last two years. A fit with the Broncos or Texans seems likely.
