After three more weeks of consideration, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is leaning more toward undergoing a Mumford procedure on his left clavicle than attaching a plate over the mending collarbone, according to a source. Romo, however, has yet to make a final decision on the type of surgery he will have in March as he continues to gather facts and evaluate the benefits of each procedure that he’s discussed with doctors. Nerdy Football Analysis: Romo broke his collarbone twice in the span of three months and managed to only play in four games last season. While he may miss or be limited in minicamps this May and June he should be a full go by the time training camps rolls around in late July.
