InjuryNo surgery required at this time

Robert Griffin III is out at least 8 games with a broken bone in his left shoulder suffered during Sunday’s 29-10 loss to the Eagles, the Browns announced Monday. No surgery is required at this time, but he suffered a fractured coracoid bone. It will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks. (Cleveland Plain-Dealer)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Josh McCown will start Week 2 against Baltimore. Griffin went 12-26 for 190 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT against the Eagles in Week 1. As expected the Browns struggled on offense as they attempt re-tool the franchise. Much like Griffin, McCown is nothing more than a QB2 moving forward.
