Team has no plans to scale back rookie’s workload

The Chiefs don’t plan on reducing rookie running back Kareem Hunt’s workload anytime soon. Chiefs coach Andy Reid was asked Monday if the Chiefs have to be careful with how much they work they give the 5-foot-10, 208-pound Hunt ?” who leads in the NFL in rushing and is on pace to record 299 touches this season.

“No, I think we’re OK with how we’re using him,” Reid said, adding that they’re still getting Charcandrick West his for reps, and have plans to mix in Akeem Hunt as a third back if he develops. (Kansas City Star)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Hunt is a Top 5 back right now for fantasy purposes and there’s no reason to assume he’s going to lose any touches moving forward.
