Franchise tag could be coming for Cousins

Nerdy Football Analysis: And so it goes in the world of contract negotiations. Cousins is more than likely going to be the Redskins quarterback in 2016 either via a new contract or a one-year franchise deal. Teams have until March 1st to designate their franchise player.
