Seahawks rookie running back Thomas Rawls is out for the season after suffering a broken left ankle and torn ligaments during the first quarter of Sunday’s 35-6 victory over the Ravens. Coach Pete Carroll said Rawls might not need surgery but added that, “He’s not going to make it back (this season).” (Seattle Times)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Devasting blow to the Seahakws and the Rawls fantasy owners as the rookie posted 44 yards on just six carries before being injured. DuJuan Harris received the majority of touches (18) in a relief role while Fred Jackson (8) played on third-downs and as a change of pace.
