Baltimore backfield in flux

Ravens coach John Harbaugh wouldn’t commit to Terrance West as the featured back going forward. “If you’re playing hard, smart and is fundamentally sound and is productive, you’ll be out there again,” Harbaugh said. (ESPN)

Nerdy Football Analysis: West gave the Ravens 113 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries against the Raiders in Week 4, so it is fair to say he’ll get a shot to further solidify his hold on the job against the Redskins in Week 5, when rookie Kenneth Dixon is expected to make his NFL debut. Expect West to handle the early-down work for now, while Dixon takes over the passing-down duties as early as this week. West is now on the flex radar and Dixon needs to be added in all leagues.
