Prosise unlikely to play, ankle injury

InjuryCarroll: “He’s got a significant ankle”

The Seahawks will likely play without running back C.J. Prosise against the Indianapolis Colts due to an ankle injury suffered late in Sunday’s game at Tennessee. “He’s got an ankle that we are concerned about,” Carroll said. “We’ll see how it goes, give him a couple days before we have to declare what’s going on with him. But he’s got a significant ankle.” (Seattle Times)

Nerdy Football Analysis: It sounds like Prosise could be dealing with a multi-week injury, leaving Chris Carson to see the bulk of the work in Week 4 against the Colts. Prosise is mainly a third-down back and that role could go to J.D. McKissic. Carson is shaping up as an RB2.
