InjuryBrock Osweiler replaced Manning in Week 10

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has plantar fasciitis in his foot, including a partial tear of tissue, an NFL source confirmed Monday.

Manning began experiencing pain two weeks ago, then aggravated the injury on the artifical turf at Lucas Oil Stadium eight days ago. He completed 5-of -20 passes for 35 yards and 4 INTS on Sunday against the Chiefs. He is worst in the NFL with 17 interceptions, leaving him on pace for a career-high 30. (Denver Post)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Nothing is official but you can expect Brock Osweiler to be under center for the Broncos in Week 11 against the Bears as rest is the best cure for Manning’s foot injury. Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas are performing more like low-end WR2s than WR1s through ten weeks of the season.
