First Bucs RB to rush for 100+ yards
Playing behind a makeshift offensive line, Peyton Barber rushed for a career-high 102 yards on 23 carries, becoming the first Bucs player to reach the century rushing mark this season. Barber had been the fourth running back for most of the season. (Tampa Bay Times)
Nerdy Football Analysis: Barber was announced as the starter roughly an hour before kickoff and he made the most of his opportunity, operating in a lead back role. Jacquizz Rodgers and Charles Sims handled 3 carries a piece. It remains to be seen how much work Barber will receive when Doug Martin (concussion) returns but Barber has certainly earned more snaps moving forward.
