Nerdy Football Analysis: According to reports, the deal could be up to $14 million based on incentives but likely to be something less. Newton’s rushing ability kept him fantasy relevant early in the 2020 season but missing time due to COVID-19, diminishing skills and lack of outside weapons limited his passing numbers to 2657 yards, 8 TDs, 10 INTs in 15 games. He’ll be a middling QB2 in redraft leagues.
