Nerdy Football Analysis: There had been rumors over the last couple weeks that owner David Tepper was getting tired of the situation in Carolina and changes could be coming. And here we are. The Panthers sputtered against the 49ers yesterday giving up 37 points while Baker Mayfield continues to be unimpressive. Passing game coordinator and secondary coach Steve Wilks has been named as interim head coach.
