Tennessee OC makes the jump to HC in Green Bay
The Green Bay Packers are expected to hire Matt LaFleur as their next head coach, sources told ESPN.
LaFleur spent last season as the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator and previously worked under Sean McVay for the Los Angeles Rams and Kyle Shanahan with the Atlanta Falcons. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The trend of hiring young offensive-minded coaches continues. The Titans certainty didn’t perform well offensively in 2018 but it’s safe to assume LaFleur has a better shot at producing a high-octane offense with Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. This move is boost for Rodgers and hopefully Aaron Jones.
