Nerdy Football Analysis: It’s been reported that Aaron Rodgers knew of the Davante Adams deal before he decided to return to Green Bay. Adams apparently wanted out and had a desire to play with his old college quarterback Derek Carr. The Rodgers to Adams connection was special and it’s hard to envision Adams putting up similar numbers with the Raiders. This move will also deflate the value of Rodgers regardless of what wide receiver Green Bay pulls in via free agency.
