Nerdy Football Analysis: It would be an upset if this didn’t happen; he’s still very much an oversized receiver playing tight end. The good thing is Shurmur may see him in the same way he saw Evan Engram. Considering he doesn’t come with near the same kind of injury concerns, Fant could end up being what people hoped Engram was going to be over his first three seasons as a Giant. Fant is a high-end fantasy TE2 with significant upside.
