InjuryRoethisberger, Brown and Williams appear questionable at best

QB Ben Roethlisberger and WR Antonio Brown were not full participants in practice for the second day in a row, but that could change tomorrow. The plan for Roethlisberger (shoulder separation) all along was to not participate fully in practice until Friday, the last full practice before Sunday’s divisional playoff game in Denver. Brown, though, has not been cleared to practice after sustaining a concussion in the wild-card playoff victory in Cincinnati. Meantime, RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) still has not practiced since being injured in the season finale against Cleveland and is not expected to play in Denver. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)

Nerdy Football Analysis: In terms of likelihood to play this week, it appears the order at the moment is Roethlisberger, Brown and then Williams. The Steelers are hopeful Brown can be cleared from the concussion protocol program and play even if he doesn’t practice. Friday figures to be a big day in determining his status. Making matters worse for fantasy purposes, Pittsburgh plays in the last of the four playoff games this weekend. The Denver defense is shaping up to be a great play.
