The only Eagles quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl is bound for Jacksonville when NFL free agency opens March 13, according to NFL sources with knowledge of the situation. A market for Nick Foles outside of Jacksonville has not developed, and though nothing is certain until it is official, the Jaguars absolutely expect to sign Foles, sources said. Nerdy Football Analysis: Foles to Jacksonville has been the steady rumor this off-season and it makes sense considering the Jags new OC is John DeFilippo, who was Foles’ quarterbacks coach in Philadelphia. Miami, Washington and the New York Giants have quarterback needs but those teams seem to be headed in a different direction at the position. The legal tampering period for free agents begins noon eastern on March 11th.
