Poor field conditions in Mexico
The NFL has decided to move Monday’s game between the Chiefs and Rams from Mexico City to Los Angeles before of poor field conditions at Estadio Azteca, it was announced Tuesday. The issue is that soccer games and concerts have left the field inside Estadio Azteca a mess. (ESPN)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The league can’t be too happy about this situation. This fiasco is a black eye in their attempts to broaden their brand outside of the US. The players who likely didn’t want to go to Mexico in the first place are likely ecstatic about this.
