Week 8 foot injury more serious than expected

Nerdy Football Analysis: Bateman started off the season on fire, but it has been mostly downhill since. He suffered his initial foot injury in Week 4, which led to two missed games and one modest game back before last Thursday’s aggravation. With Baltimore eyeing its bye in Week 10, it is possible the Ravens don’t send him to IR in hopes that he only has to miss three games over the next four weeks (instead of the four games he would need to miss on IR). Stash him on your league’s IR if possible, but managers in more shallow leagues may need to move on.
