InjuryAnticipates practicing Friday; suffered ankle sprain in Week 17

Eagles do-it-all back Miles Sanders (ankle) is hopeful to practice Friday, and a source says his plan is to play vs. SEA barring a setback. It’s a low-ankle injury, so the issue has been inflammation. He is improving. ‘He wants to play,’ the source said. (ESPN – Jeremy Fowler)

Nerdy Football Analysis: Even a limited practice on Friday would be a good sign for Sanders, although it’s worth considering the possibility the Eagles will manage his workload on Sunday considering how well Boston Scott has played when he’s been given a chance. If the rookie can play, expect something approaching a 60-40 split. Even with a scaled-back workload, Sanders is a threat for 100 total yards and a touchdown.
