Team remains firm at their initial offer of approximately $10M/ year
Chargers RB Melvin Gordon’s agent Damarius Bilbo tells me he requested a trade last wk for his client, after the team remained at their initial offer of aprox $10M/ year. GM Tom Telesco told Bilbo, Gordon is still family, but Bilbo was not given permission to seek trade partners. (Josina Anderson on Twitter)
Nerdy Football Analysis: The two sides seem dug in. We’ll see who blinks first. Gordon’s ADP has fallen to RB12 with him being taken somewhere around the end of Round 2 in PPR leagues. The longer the holdout continues, the more his ADP will fall. Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson would handle rushing duties if Gordon’s holdout extends into the season.
