Titans play Monday
The decision of who will start at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans will likely linger until game day for the second consecutive week.
Marcus Mariota (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday night’s AFC South matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. Mariota, who missed last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins, has made good progress throughout a week of practice, but the Titans don’t want to put him out there if he can’t protect himself. Nerdy Football Analysis: Head coach Mike Mularkey stated that Mariota could play at less than 100 percent. It sounds like Mariota will likely miss, meaning Matt Cassel would get another start, but we won’t know for sure until Monday. If Mariota does sit, it would be a downgrade for the entire Titans offensive players.
